While I'm feeling inspired and focused, let's keep going through more samples!  I have WAY too much stuff around here and the end of the year is always a good time to clean house. 

Next up is another of these mini pleated pouches (small pleated pouch -1" of height on both pieces). Sold - Thanks!  Yes, I'm slightly obsessed with the pleated pouches lately. 

These little ones are pretty cute. They are perfect for business cards or credit/debit cards. 

The button on the front is really a fabric covered pin. It isn't pinned on and will just come inside the pouch.  You can add it to the pouch or pin it to something else. 

This one has VELCRO closure because I'm almost out of magnetic snaps.  Quelle horreur!

Sample Sale - Book Pouch (Sold)

Today I have a this pouch I made for to hold the Fix Your Clothes zine available as a sample.  Sold - Thanks!  I'm fond of this little book and felt like it needed its own pretty pouch.

This is the first version--I'm making little tweaks to the size/fit.  

It is 8" high x 5.75" wide.  Besides the book, it would be good for an eReader, iPad Mini, or whatever you want to stash inside.

The inside is a yarn dyed cotton and it closes with magnets.

For these magnets I interfaced a scrap of fabric and cut out a circle bigger than the magnet.  The edges are pinked to slow down the fraying.  Then the magnet is under the fabric circle and sewn in place.  Super, super easy.

To make this I took 1" off the height of each piece of the small Pleated Pouch. 

It has a hidden magnetic snap (btw--the post about using these snaps has been updated) closure.

Sample Sale - Essential Wristlet (Sold)

Today I have this wristlet I made while trying out The Essential Wristlet pattern. Sold - Thanks!

This is just slightly smaller than the large size in the pattern.  For the lace insets I made one piece of fabric and then cut it into the two wristlet pieces.  The one piece I made with the lace ended up being slightly smaller than called for...whoops.  No big deal though.  It is maybe 0.5" shorter than it would have been, so the bottom of the interior pocket ended up in the bottom seam of the bag.

The fabric is a light weight vintage canvas that has been in my stash f-o-r-e-v-e-r waiting for just the right project.
