Hi Sewing Friends. Today I have a very special announcement...
I will be teaching a class at Sewing Summit 2012 and would love to meet you there! Please think about coming to lovely Salt Lake City this October, and spending a weekend learning all kinds of fantastic things, while meeting other people who share your love of sewing.
This will be the 2nd annual Sewing Summit. If you are on flickr you might remember seeing the photos from last year. It looked like a lot of fun, and this year is going to be just as great--or even better. I can't wait!
I'm pretty sure this year it is going to sell out, and maybe even sell out the day the tickets go on sale. So make sure to give it some consideration before the tickets go on sale (April 3rd).
Tickets include: "Two lunches, one dinner, opening reception, two full days of sessions (8 classes), most classroom materials, open sewing time, parties & a VIP gift bag."
That is a very reasonable price for two days of classes covering your favorite subjects, and the chance to meet online sewing friends in person.
The 2012 class list is still a work in progress, but last year was a great mix and I would have loved to take any--or all--of them.
My class will cover "small sewing". We will finish the project during class, so besides all the new things you learn, you will also have a finished memento to take home!
Below is a list of classes from last year. This year I think there will be even more choices, and some of these will probably be held again.
