The secret to why I've been so productive lately is I'm letting my work studio go, and have moved almost all my sewing stuff back home. It is all sewing, all the time now! Well, not really, but I have been getting a lot of sewing done.
The lease on my studio is up at the end of the month and I just can't stand the commute. Looking back, I knew driving to work would be something I'd have to learn to accept, and well, I just couldn't. Driving in the city is stressful, expensive, frustrating and basically not my thing.
So what did I make today? This fancy clutch pictured above. It is made from a black and gold brocade fabric:
Now if I just had a fancy party dress (and an invite to a fancy party), I'd be all set.
