I lost my phone pouch while walking the dog. In the confusion of answering the phone with gloves on, while holding the leash, I ended up dropping the pouch on the street. I hoped it might be returned since my business cards were inside, but no such luck. So today I made a new one.
Most of my sewing stuff is now at my studio, but I still do a lot of hand sewing at home, and discovered I did not have a pincushion at home. I repurposed the faux moss from one of my terrariums into a pincushion.
This is another repurposed project--I turned my pin bag into a hanging planter. Then I made a bigger one:
I finished a small piece of hexagon patchwork. This will be used in my third attempt at the hanging plant basket. Then I'm going to hang this in the window of my studio.
Then I embroidered this little animal portrait of a river otter:
And finally, I am working on the pattern for the laptop sleeve. This pattern should be ready this week!
I feel productive!
