Thanks for your interest in the michellepatterns.com affiliate program.
Commission
The program applies to sales at michellepatterns.com only and currently* pays the following commissions:
- 25% for any michellepatterns.com brand pattern retailing for $5 or more
- 10% for any michellepatterns.com pattern retailing for less than $5
- 5% for patterns from other designers
- 10% for hardware, fabric, interfacing and other sewing notions.
Commission is paid monthly. Payments are sent by the end of the following month. For example, all commissions earned in December will be paid on, or before, January 31st. Payment is sent by PayPal Mass Payments so you will not incur PayPal charges to receive your commission payment. You must have a PayPal account in order to be paid.
*Commissions are subject to periodic review. Affiliate partners will be notified 30-days in advance of any changes.
Who Can Be an Affiliate
You need to have a blog to be an affiliate. Technical support is not provided, so you need to be able to post text, photos and links to your own blog.
Blogs where I have paid for an advertisement are NOT eligible to be affiliates.
The affiliate program is best suited for blogs with these qualities:
- Post on a regular basis (2+ times per week).
- Well established (1+ year) with a steady stream of traffic.
- Sewing, crafting, DIY focus.
- Willing to periodically write a brief blog post mentioning the patterns or share something made with a pattern.
Announcements
I will be sending emails to affiliates periodically with sales info and announcements. Just like anything else you are trying to sell online, if you don't promote it you won't see any results.
Ads
150 x 150 ads are below. If you need another size let me know. I can resize them to fit the width of your blog column, but they will still be square. Place them in a section of your blog where it is obvious it is sponsor button.

Joining the Affiliate Program
To join, click the link below and register. You need to register in order to get your links with the tracking codes and be able to access your sales reports.
Once you are registered and have put up the coded ad on your blog (and tested it to make sure it clicks through), please send me an email with your blog address. I will visit your ad, click through and make a test order. Once I've made the test order, my order will show up in your sales report.
