I'm a wee bit embarrassed to admit that this Aster Wristlet has been done except for adding the snaps for months and months! In early December I had a little craft show at home for friends to come by and shop for Christmas gifts, and found this bag in the stash of finished stuff. Then it took another month to get those snaps on...oy.
So here it is now and it's super cute. I want to make another right now.
Some new fat eighths are posted in the fabric section of my etsy shop.
I'm glad to see some interest in these small cuts of fabric. On my end it works well because I like to buy at least half yard cuts of fabric, but then my stash gets out of hand. Smaller pieces of fabric don't wash well, and well, washing fabric first is something I feel a little militant about. Sometimes it crosses my mind to save some time and sew with unwashed fabric and just can't get myself to do it!
So for you these small pieces can add some variety to your stash so you have a nice selection for patchwork and other smaller projects. And of course, they are washed and ready to sew. ;0]
Some new fat eighths, a couple fat quarters, and remnants are available in the fabric section of my etsy shop. These are all from my fabric collection and have been laundered and pressed, so they are ready to sew!
I've had a few of the fabrics in the Railroad Denim collection and they are all great. This is 7.5oz denim, so it's on the lower end of medium weight, and is somewhat crisp. It will probably soften up after washing a few times. The stripes are dark blue but look almost black in the photos.
