There's a small stack of denim pieces in my scrap bin and they make great zipper pouches--especially the Intro to Improv Zip Pouches because those pouches use some smaller pieces. So I used up some of them to make this pouch, which is Size 2 in the pattern.
This particular denim is also thick enough that it doesn't need interfacing. Interfacing is awesome, but it's also a nice change to skip it now and then.
To add some visual interest, I topstitched the seams with hot pink Jeans Stitch thread.
For the lining I used a cotton lawn from Lecien (this one, but in pink). Because lawn isn't as thick as quilting cotton, and will really show wrinkles from fusible fleece, I fused the fleece to muslin and then lightly quilted the fleece/muslin pieces to the lining.
