I don't think I've shown this fabric here on the blog. It is in my flickr stream here, but I wanted to share it here.
This is a silk/cotton blend fabric I kept visiting at the fabric store. It is very sheer, ethereal and amazing.
The bolt got smaller and smaller, and I couldn't stop thinking about the fabric, so I finally bought some. It was actually pretty reasonable with a Fabric Depot coupon, and ended up being around $10 per yard.
My only qualm with buying this fabric is that I'm not sure what to do with it! So for now, I'm just hoarding it and thinking about what it might become. If you have some ideas for what to make with this fabric, feel free to share in the comments.
