It is nice to see so many people getting things done and doing it with enthusiasm! This is already the 3rd week and I think the goal & giveaway posts probably need to be combined to make this more efficient. I will figure it out this week and let you know about any changes.
In the meantime, let's set some new goals! Let us know in the comments what you need/want to get done this week.
Here is my goal for the week: I will sew two things I've never made before.
Over the weekend I got in some sewing and now I really just want to sit down at my machine and get some things made this week. At first, I thought my goal would be to make one small thing everyday this week. Bahaha...I am SO ridiculous sometimes! There is no way I could finish sewing something everyday. So I scaled it back to five, which is also not even close to being realistic for me. Eventually I reconciled the la la land of my sewing fantasies with reality, and came to the conclusion finishing two things is actually doable.
So let's hear it...what are you going to get done this week?
My goal this week is to pick fabric for the retro flowers quilt along and to cut it all out! This is my least favorite part of any sewing, so will be a challenge! I'd also like to get a skirt pattern traced and cut out too. I am aiming to get that one done for Easter, so maybe that will be next week's goal!

I want to get two ties done for my boys for Easter and at least two more waves quilted on my quilt. Along with working on blocks for my boys' big boy quilts... But I am not setting a goal there.

This is fun!! I want to finish a cushion that I am making with fabric scraps from Art Gallery Fabrics and then upload a picture of it to their Facebook page. At the moment I am feeling quite positive that I will get this done if all goes to plan!

Man, you make stuff looking even more fun with these weekly challenges!
My goal for this week is to start cutting and sewing curtains for my youngest's room, hope I'll be finished too this week but my dad is coming over to install my new stairs :)) YAY!
And I'm dreaming to sew a tunic for myself by I think it's not attainable for now...

Well, I didn't finish last week's goal.... and I'm feeling so overwhelmed this week that I know I can't have a huge and lofty goal!! My goal this week then is to catch up on my Craftsy Block of the Month quilt blogs for March (since it's almost April) - that's 2 12" blocks doing some foundation piecing and a pair of PJ bottoms for the boy.

I need to clean out my closet so I can actually use *it* for storage, instead of my bedroom floor. On the sewing side of things, I have a hand embroidery to finish for a swap.

This week I'd like to make a keyka lou mini groccerie bag, I'm looking forward to you updating your pattern so that I can purchase it and make a few as gifts. As I finished the small project bags last week. I'd like to make 1 big project bag and I'd like to make progress on the "tour de lit" (don't know how to say this in english, for my daughters cot. It's been cut out for ages but I never seem to get around to doing it. So if I can just assemble all the pieces this week I'll be happy.

My goal is to start quilting a quilt top that I finished last year. It is loaded on my frame, so this should be an easy goal to reach. I also want to start on a quilt I want to make for my granddaughter who will be getting a big girl bed soon. I am going to make her a Dresden Plate.

I just found out about Keyka Lou today. I'm excited! My goal this week is to make an apron for my sister for her birthday. It's reversible, and I already have the fabrics.

Reposting the comment from last blog post.
I am setting a goal for me this week. To finish a tote bag for my son's therapist to carry his home program file to and fro from home to school. It was supposed to be finished two weeks back.
I am setting this as a goal to finish it end of this week. If can get it done it will be good but if I could win something for finishing my goal that will be fabulous ; ).

My sewing goal this week is to make two more blocks for a scrappy quilt I'm working on. I'm participating in a Blogger's BOM, but I joined 6 months behind! ;) I'd also like to finish a shopping bag and a mini shopping bag in a vintage sheet fabric that I have started. One more thing: I want to make two pillowcases for Christmas gifts for my nieces.

I want to play. I'm already in three "UFO finishing" groups and am NOT doing to well in any of them. On the plus side, I am finishing, and at least working on the UFOs. This week I plan to finish, at least the tops, of two UFOs, as well as a quilted sweatshirt that wasn't listed as a UFO, but that's what it was. I'm getting close to finishing it. Also, need to finish 6 bottle covers for Easter gifts for my grandkids. Thanks.
