Oh my, check out this flocked vintage sheer. It is pretty spectacular in that late 60s/early 70s groovy way.
I wish manufacturers would make more flocked fabric. It seems to be a fabric relic from the past. I looked up how it is made and found a very basic description in Kohls.com Glossary of Fabric & Fashion Terms. It says flocking is: "A decorative detail in which short fibers are applied to the surface of a fabric in a particular pattern by using an adhesive."
