Today I wanted to show you my favorite little red cart.
When I had my studio even though everything was in one large room, space was still a challenge. Ideally there would have been one dedicated area for each common task, but it just didn't work out that way.
One thing I struggled with was my packaging supplies were constantly getting mixed up with the sewing stuff. It started out that I had a small table for packing shipments, but sewing things would end up on the table, or the packing supplies would get lost on the cutting table. When it came time to send a package, it was an inefficient process of locating the tape, scissors, customs forms, etc.
One day the newest Uline catalog arrived (they send them ALL THE TIME--*sigh*), and there on the cover was the little red cart. I knew it was the solution! It was the perfect size to hold tape, envelopes, and other basic supplies. The casters made it perfect for sliding it under the cutting table when I needed it out of the way.
So now I'm back working at home, and this cart is still super useful. It was well worth the price and a purchase that definitely worked out the way planned. Now it gets rolled into the closet when not in use.
It rolls really smoothly, two wheels lock to hold it in one spot if necessary, and it was easy to put together.
Just wanted to share for those of you who might struggle with the same packing supply issue. This cart would also be perfect for holding sewing notions. Hmmm...maybe I need a second one.
P.S. This tape dispenser is fabulous! It has made my life so much easier. It will hold two rolls of tape (packing and regular width), has a pen/scissor cup, and is weighted down. LOVE it!
