At this point all the blocks are sewn, and more than half are quilted. I really want to use scraps as much as possible for this quilt--including scraps of batting. Yeah, I keep those too.
On the last block I quilted, I used two pieces of batting butted up against one another, and that worked fine. But now it is to the point where I will need to use multiple scraps to complete one block.
I'm a little concerned the smaller pieces will shift or get bunched up if they aren't somehow joined together before quilting. Zig-zagging them together crossed my mind, but that seems like a lot of work. Then I saw this:
No, it isn't toilet paper. It is fusible batting tape you can use to join pieces of batting together!
Has anyone used this stuff? Should I get excited about it, or are there ways to join batting pieces that don't require buying special products?
