I used 3 of your patterns for Christmas gifts this year (small satchel, half moon handbag & journal cover). I followed your tip for sewing the opening closed first and it worked great! Ironing the opening before taking the thread out really helped give it a nice clean line. I will add your chalk idea to it next. Thanks!
