Attaching your own labels to your accessories and clothes adds a professional finishing touch if you are selling them and can be just plain fun and cute if you are giving a handmade gift.
My woven labels come from Luscious Labels. I placed my first order with them for several reasons, but the most important reason for me at the time was the minimum was only 500 labels. Many companies have 1000+ minimums, which is a daunting amount of labels when you are first starting out. They are nice labels and a good deal. My last order for 1000 ended up costing less than $0.25 per label. The edges are sealed to prevent fraying and folded.
If you aren't ready to commit to 500 or more labels just yet there are a couple of other options:
1. Search the etsy supply category for "label" and you will find lots of sellers printing labels for varying prices. There are iron on labels, printed labels, labels with cut and sealed edges.
2. Buy a pre-made design. These can be really cute and have vintage charm.
3. Make your own labels. DIY all the way is always great too.
