The weather has been really wonderful here lately, so a few extra trips to the park have been squeezed in to take advantage of the Indian Summer. Usually we have nice weather until Halloween and then the rain starts in and we have 5-6 months of solid gray skies.
Today I actually took my camera and snapped a few photos:
The water level was very low today. In the background you can see downtown. The first two buildings are not in downtown proper, but are some of the newest large buildings in Portland. I guess this area is now called South Waterfront. Here is a better view of the buildings:
This guy is at the park every time I go down there and he is always in this skimpy outfit. I felt a little voyeuristic taking this photo, but hey, he obviously loves the attention. He may actually be doing crunches in this photo.
